LUCY
WIGMORE
After
working in the advertising industry for several years in England
and France, Lucy Wigmore decided to follow her first love
of acting and studied at London's MOUNTVIEW DRAMA SCHOOL.
Returning to New Zealand, she was admitted to TOI WHAAKARE,
formerly the NEW ZEALAND DRAMA SCHOOL, from which she graduated
in 2002.
After graduating from TOI WHAAKARE, Wigmore concentrated mostly
on the theatre, in productions such as the highly acclaimed
New Zealand production of THE WOMEN, which toured nationwide.
She also wrote and performed in her own one-woman show, SALON
71.
Since acting in THE LAST MAGIC SHOW, Wigmore has joined the
core cast of New Zealand's long-running soap opera SHORTLAND
STREET on which she currently appears and has built a solid
following.
